This skill enables a character to find certain characteristics of a criminal by subtle traces that they leave behind at the scene of the crime. This includes genetic fingerprinting, gene sampling, dental recording, time of crime, entry and exit points to the scene and giving potential scenarios as to what really happened at the scene of the crime as well as scientific examination of corpses to see how they were killed, etc.
